Craft Engineering 937 S.T.P. a R.L. is an Italian professional engineering firm based in Palermo, incorporated in 2021 and operating since 2022. It combines the rigour and accountability of the regulated engineering profession with an integrated quality, environmental and occupational safety management system certified to ISO 9001, ISO 14001 and ISO 45001. The same discipline the firm designs for its clients is applied in-house and verified by an accredited third-party body.
The company is entered in the special section for Professional Firms (Società Tra Professionisti) of the Italian Companies Register and in the Special Section of the Register of the Engineers Association of the Province of Palermo (no. 08), with an Inarcassa social-security position. All professional assignments are carried out exclusively by chartered professionals, as required by Italian law governing professional firms.
The core of the practice is occupational health and safety under Legislative Decree 81/2008, alongside food hygiene and HACCP, management systems, event safety & security, fire prevention, energy management and plant design. CE937 is the project's industrial partner: engineering and prototyping of sterile single-dose ophthalmic devices from platelet-rich plasma (PRP) of umbilical cord blood — device design, pilot-scale process optimisation, a scalable production plan and the pre-regulatory pathway towards CE marking, backed by the firm's ISO-certified processes.

Every EU-funded intervention must show that it does no significant harm to the six environmental objectives of the EU Taxonomy (Art. 17, Regulation (EU) 2020/852): a requirement of the 2021-2027 Cohesion funds, Interreg included, and of Italy's Recovery and Resilience Plan (PNRR), to be documented from design to final reporting. Since 2025 Craft Engineering 937 reports every year the greenhouse-gas emissions of its own activity in accordance with UNI EN ISO 14064-1:2019, with GHG Protocol Scope 1, 2 and 3 classification. The inventory (Rev. 00 of 29/10/2026) is part of the ISO 14001 certified environmental management system and underpins the company's reduction scenarios; it is a self-declaration, not third-party verified under ISO 14064-3: the ISO certificates cover the management system, not the inventory.
